It shows the before and after pictures of the tornado path. It goes on for an estimated 30 square miles. This is no ordinary tornado event. It could end up being historically bad I'm afraid.
KFOR in Oklahoma City now reporting up to 24 children at one of the schools dead. No longer a search and rescue operation; now search and recovery. Really sad. Coverage on the Weather Channel.

Most of these storms usually miss the DFW area and skirt around them, but I still have no idea why anyone still lives in Ardmore, OK. Everytime I watch the path of these storms, I swear that city gets the livin' crap beat out of it.

I was about 10 miles north of the tornado at work. It hit south of the city and I live to the north so my apartment is safe as well. They evacuated us into our safe area at work once the tornado sirens went off. Was a pretty surreal experience. Never been in the area of a tornado before and I had one Sunday and the one yesterday both hit within about 10 miles of me.
You are a lucky man. That must have been intense. This is the radar of the tornado yesterday. I've never seen anything rotating like this on a radar (outside of a hurricane of course)
