Last time I checked, I was a Rockets fan and Tmac and Yao are Rockets. I'm going to defend my team. If you don't like their performance, don't watch the games. Although I have a feeling you are going to be one of the 100s of hypocrites that when we were on a 22 game winning streak, there you were applauding and praising the team. But when they start the season 1 game over .500 (something we do every season by the way), you criticize and complain. You have to take the good with the bad, you can't be a fair whether fan.
There are way too many mother *ucking sky is falling mother *uckers in here *ucking with my shi* ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=My-P4LssMsI )
Meh same thing last year and in 04-05. started off 15-17, finished strong. It's not how you start, it's how you finish. People said last year when we were 15-17 that we wouldn't make the playoffs. The rest is history.
You sure? Seems like it the way some on this board react to one game. At the end of the day people are ready to give up on the team and they're still above .500 and had injuries and a rough schedule to deal with. That's being unfair. BTW what kind of fans abandon the team or lose faith when times are tough. It's those times that we should show even more support to lift the team up, not use every chance to tear them down.
I think we should make a list of these moronic supporters so when the all-star break comes around the Rockets get on a role and move up the standings we can call out these fans. Fact is this, the Rockets team is playing below par. Everyone can see that. However unlike you knee-jurk, over-reacting muppets, we can see the things we can improve on and how long into the season we have. The absence of Battier has shown how important it is to have a 'glue' guy. He rebounds well and spreads the floor. That will enable Artest to become part of the secondary unit. Instead of struggling for touches with Yao and T-Mac on the floor aswell, he will be the number one option with Aaron Brooks. Hopefully T-Mac's knee has healed further allowing him to become more like the old T-Mac. People forget when T-Mac shoots a jump shoot he likes to get high off the ground. He can't do that with his knee. We also have not been able to develop chemistry and played against good teams who had an entire season last year to play together. If we are still playing like junk in January, then I will stress.
Good thoughts! I agree, basically. But there is one thing confusing me. Why these guys forget how to play Princeton after they were already doing it nicely last season!? How has RA been training them? What's the problem?
havent we started off like 6-11 or something like that the past four seasons? i tend to think we'll be fine once battier gets back
