those who defend T-lady and Yao not so mean are shameless. on top of that is bad coaching. run away from the problems won't help us going anywhere. this team don't even have identity so far. many things become so predictable and heartless. Don't defend Tracy and Yao. Don't pretend. Running out of excuse isn't even funny. If this isn't working, think the other way.
Don't even bother dude. It isn't going to make a difference. There's always going to be those fans that scream the sky is falling after every loss no matter the team we played. It's like they ACTUALLY expect the team to go 82-0. Then when some are patient they claim they are settling for mediocrity. Get used to it. This was the same exact responses the board was getting at the start of last season. Some were even calling for Adelman to be fired when we were at .500. It's just funny to me that some people after the reacting this way after a rough starting schedule with the injuries and recovering players while we are trying to build chemistry with the newer players and at the same time incorporate Adelman's offense. But, nah, we should be playing like a well oiled machine and winning every game convincingly.
I absolutely hate people saying how because we're over 50%, theree's nothing to worry about. Gosh, we won against teams that have a combined record of 12-24. That's right, 33% average winning percentage. So there's nthing to be happy about with beating these kind of teams. Gosh, our schedule is actually not that tough if u look at the avg winning percentage of the teams we played against.
McGrady isn't going to be right physically all season. My fear is that what we're seeing right now -- sometimes he's good, sometimes he's awful -- is pretty much going to be a trend for us all year.
I think he's right. I haven't seen a title crowned in november. Haven't really seen two guys coming off lower leg surgery be 100% this early in the season. They're 6-4 through 10. That's 60% winning so far. That's at least 50 wins and the team isn't even playing well right now. They're missing a key bench player in Battier and Brooks got his 1st start.
Everyone keeps saying we are fine because of our position last year, and winning 22 straight. It seems like everyone is counting on another 20+ game win streak. It ain't gonna happen folks.
Are you kidding? No one expects the team to go 82-0. We expect the team to play hard every night, and have a coach who knows what he's doing.
We aren't in a position where we are a few games out of the 8th seed either. We're a half a game out of first place for the division and less than 3 games back from 1st place in the conference. Let me say that again....we are 2.5 games behind the Lakers! That's it.
True, the West seems to have declined a bit, so the annual dogfight just to make the playoffs won't be as rough. But the Rockets seem to be playing like they know this. A lack of a sense of urgency will catch you in the ass if you're not careful, and in my view, it's unacceptable for multi-million dollar athletes. All that said though, I agree with you. We'll be fine.
This is embarrissing, we have a horrible fan base. I personally agree with topic starter, but you have to remember 95% of this board is a bunch negative pansies when we lose. Don't waste you're time.
Word. On top of that, maybe people will stop screaming for AB to start. He is not, yet, starting material. He's better coming off the bench. But then again, he did get his last shot blocked. Trade that fool.
I wasn't that surprised by AB's 6 for 48 performance. I figured he wouldn't be as good off the bench, where for now he excels and no where else. What killed us was Tracy "No Heart" McGrady last night.
What killed us was not being to make a freaking basket in the last 5 minutes of the game. I mean... seriously?
You could argue no offense for that period , "might" have cost us the game. There are critics that argue you must score more points than the other team to win, but I'm not convinced.
Spurs wanted to give us this game. They were missing shots too, they were in a drought. The defense was there, but they were also missing shot after shot after shot after shot. We were there for the taking, we just needed a few baskets to put the game away, but we couldn't do that.
