    Where's Wang Zhi Zhi ?

Really, a sad list. Peeler the only name of interest.

What about "project", 1-year, or even 10-day contract guys - like Leon Smith, or our own Oscar? Is there a list for them?

    I think I'd resign Oscar.

Popeye was originally drafted by the Rockets in Round Two, I believe. We could have used him all these years!

Popeye is nice but realistically it's a stretch that he'll leave Washington. Jordan loves the guy and his blue-collar work ethic (something the Rockets could use) and IIRC it was Jordan as President of Basketball Operations who traded for him in the first place. If Kendall Gill is available he'd be a very good option.

And what's wrong with being a journeyman? Gary Trent is playing for his fourth club while Popeye Jones is playing for his fifth. Who's more of the journeyman?

What exactly are we going to do with another big man on our roster? We already have three 4's and three 5's under contract.
You also want a 3 who can play defense, we have that in T Morris but he isn't going to see the floor with Rice and Nachbar ahead of him.

Make me one!!! The real journeyman is the guy working for his original employer.... still making $31,500 per annum.

Popeye probably makes that in a month.

5 mil exception is in play too.....

someone mentioned a banger/enforce type. I will take that, but i also think we need a guy who does the dirty work for a living and knows the role to play coming off the bench, playing anywhere from 5 - 30 minutes per night depending on circumstances and will never complain and can rebound, hustle and provide some energy. I would love to land Redd, Nailon or George, but like someone posted, these guys are commanding a lot more attention and are starter type folks. so, here is my dirty man list to take a look at:

Malik Rose*** definitely the top of the pile...this guy is a scrapper and really gives some teams problems, including us
    Rodgers
    Jackson
    Scott Williams

    I agree.

Something else to remember is that the Rocks' backup is Steve Francis. When Steve was healthy last year, OT saw no minutes. FA 2s should be reluctant to sign here, when the minutes aren't there.
