They are both entirely reliant on QB's and one will be 37 and one will be 38. On paper, they are the best teams in the AFC, but they are both built on shaky foundations.

Only you would say 2 of the greatest QB's of all time are a "shaky foundation".

Any QB at 37 or 38 is "shaky" father time is undefeated.

Not really sure where you're going with this.

Do you think QBs hit some kind of wall in their late 30s where they're not effective anymore? Cause that seems silly, especially when you're talking about two of the best ever.

Do you think a QB at age 37 is significantly more likely to get injured than a QB age 27? Cause that difference is probably negligible.

Well I think it is safe to say the Texans will not be good next year.

Subtracted: OD, Mays, Sharpton, Mitchell, Braman, Smith, Tate, McCain
    Retained: Graham
    Added: People we draft.

To put this in context it should be noted that many complained incessantly about Sharpton, McCain, Mitchell, and Kubiak's coaching, though justified in many instances. Starting with the assumed upgrade with O'Brien and the players returning to contribute in some way: Foster, Cushing, Manning, Quessenberry, Brennan and Travardo Williams, plus Bonner; then remembering the veteran free agents they can/will add, and the draft as you said, it is too soon to write off next season just yet.

Foster will be exposed playing out of a one cut-zone blocking system

I'm hoping he ends up with a 4:1 run:catch ratio instead of the 8:1 ratio he's been averaging lately.

Foster, Cushing, Manning will be nice to have back. I understand that potential of Quessenberry, williams ect, but I really feel that is asking a lot of a team to fill so many holes with rookies and essentially rookies with the injured now second year guys you mentioned. I think the best thing would be to get 4th and 26th, get Mack or Clowney, then a RT. Suck ballz again and get Jameis next year...but that's unreasonable haha.

    Mark Sanchez?! Oh my.

Anything to avoid having to start a rookie, but damn, if we downgrade from Schaub to butt-fumble....wow, it'll be a really ugly season.

Depends on what else happened in the draft. If they prevented Mark Sanchez from throwing the ball and Foster had a bounce back year and the defense was suffocating then they could win 10+ games even with Sanchez technically being the QB but they couldn't EVER rely on him to complete a pass.

I think Sanchez still has something in the tank. Needs a new scene. Year off did him well. He has tools. I don't want him here but I definitely think he has a chance.

If there is one QB that I would be more depressed with than Schaub going into this season, it would be Mark Sanchez. Disgusting.

Sanchez at his best isn't as good as Schaub at his worst.
