on a side note, panthers don't have and wide receivers. They have olsen TE and lafell a free agent? ha ha
Yeah that's because they don't care about their future, they know they have one (Broncos) or maybe two (Pats) years left before their window slams shut and they are going all out.
WR Brandon LaFell to New England. To go John McClain on you: I'll be stunned if the Panthers return to the playoffs. ... No OL, no WRs, no secondary. Is Play60 kid available?
This is a pretty solid WR draft class, so they could pick up some pretty good talent, but I'd never trust sCam Newton to get the ball to anyone.
I always thought James Starks would have been a good, cheap, Ben Tate-esque option in Kubiak's system. Not sure about O'Brien's, though. Also, Starks is injured at about the same rate as Tate, so there's that.
He's basically saying the two best teams from last season who were in the AFCCG just got better. The dream team thing is an apples to oranges comparison -- Philly hadn't done anything. Anything can happen in the NFL playoffs, but it's not wild to assume that these two will meet in the title game if both are healthy.
