    It doesnt really count since Toyotas are made here now. Its just Japan getting credit.

    They are really stretching the term american made.

    What's more important to making a highly complicated machine: the engineers modeling and testing it in Japan or the blue collar workers snapping it together in W Virginia

    Oh and don't forget the product marketing dudes who have to predict what we want in the future or tell us what we want

    Except for trucks, japan and Germany remain the best at cars. Our engineer talent isn't as interested in the automotive field as medicine, oil, telcom and 'puters

    Ford has been doing very, very well. In fact, I'm going to buy some of their stock, and I haven't invested in an American auto manufacturer in ages. They're going to have a big year in 2015, unless the world ends, or something of that nature. In my opinion, naturally.
