    A coworker of mine didn't speak English until the 90's and missed most of the 80's movies. She has seen ET, Home Alone and The Karate Kid. What movies should I suggest for her to watch (give me your top 10...ones that would still be good today)? So far I have (my bolded ones are my top 10):

    I'll need to spend some time on a website listing all 80's films to get a top 10 list. But an alltime favorite of mine is Princess Bride.
