I agree the first 4 statements but not last one. KB will not defeat Rockets. He's a typical faker. Lakers now are simply more talented than Rockets but Rockets are more like a champion. If Rockets can limit Gasol/odom/walton, they will win.
We played rotation guys in all but the last 2 minutes of the blowout game. We often have bench guys closeout games, even close ones.
All the more reason for US to be scared. We probably aren't going to be carrying double digit leads into the 4th against LA. We're going to have to beat them in the 4th, like we did yesterday.
I don't have a false sense of invincibility, but damn do you kill the mood. with that said, let's go!
Haha, sorry dude. I don't mean to kill it completely. I guess I'm just more cautious about getting too down or too hyped up about anything really. I'm going to be cheering just as much as you tonight. with that said, let's go! heheh
brent barry and shane battier won a national title in duke--i believe that winning the ncaa mens bball title is one of the most difficult feats in all of sports
I agree with you and felt that way last week (you bring up a good point)... past disappointments make it hard for me to let go and cheer. Eventually I realized we all have to put it behind us as the team has. As fans we all need to roll with the team and forget about what round it is, or how many season games they won or lost, and focus on one thing: BEAT LA! They need the support of a city behind them that believes they can do it and dammit they can do it! I know there is adversity in the fact that there are a number of things pitted against them, but then again it would be competitive sports if that wasn't the case. While you're cheering, I will be cheering. And so will all of Clutch City. We aren't going to b**** and moan like other teams' fans might about how bad it's going to be. We're going to not focus on making the Lakers lose. No, we're going to focus on the Rockets winning. Bleed Red!
