Just so you see some going the other way. It clearly isn't worth arguing over for the rest of my night, because your mind is made up. I will just leave you with Defense wins championships. If we still played in a big man's league, Yao would be better off.

I'm done with this because I'm tired of talking down on my team. I hate doing it, especially when he is a nice guy.

I saw that video and Jalen Rose's opinion has never been worth anything more than a bag of potato chips to me. Tim Legler at times makes good points, but he's not a fan of Yao.

If you remember during the beginning of the 06-07 season. Yao Ming was literally favorite by every single analysts to win the MVP after the month of November ended. Do you know who DIDN'T say Yao should win it? No other than Tim Legler, I remember he said Carlos Boozer was the MVP then. That's true hatred there.

People don't realize how absolutely efficient he was and how bad he crushed teams then.

Make it easy on yourself and always take the Rockets side, no matter how ridiculous!

If CP3 is top 5 than surely AB0 is top 15-20 am I right?

Simple question, You do have more reasonings to take Yao over Dwight other than head to head and ability to close out games right? ;)

The way it looks 1-4 are set, order depends on opinion. I'd actually like 2 change my 5th player 2 KD.

Honestly I didn't even think of him till other brought it up, or maybe ya boy Roy.

I need to flip a coin on that 1 but I'll give it 2 Durant by the slightest cause of his age.

Yao's defense is more about making shots tougher for the opponents while Dwight's is more about statpadding.

Yao is better on that end imo because he alters way more shots.

Yao alters more shots than Howard does. He is a greater overall force.

You are just too high on BSPN to believe it. Why don't you watch some games for a change?

It is true. Yao is a WALL. He changes alot of shots. He may not get alot of blocks but he does alter alot.

Overall defense, I would take him in half a heartbeat.

Dwight is more about going for the block, statpadding.

As I stated, WATCH ROCKET GAMES

The FACT is for the past few years the Rockets have been near the top or at the top defenses in the game.

This has been DESPITE players like Juwan Howard, Maurice Taylor, and Scott Padgett. And it has been OBVIOUS that Yao is the anchor of that defense.

Overall defense is a stretch, but the defense is still close. Yao is a better individual defender than Dwight is. Dwight is only average at BEST when it comes down to post defense. If you saw the Celtics series or the Finals you would understand. Pau Gasol rained all over him as did Kendrick Perkins and Big Baby.

Yao is underrated defensively, but I still favor Dwight defensively because he can defend the pick n roll better than Yao has ever been able to in his lifetime and Dwight is the better shot blocker. It's close, but Dwight is better defensively.

Yao is a better individual defender against big centers. Against guys with any mobility, Howard is clearly better. In today's NBA, team defense is more important at the center position anyway and Howard blows Yao away in this regard. Because of his mobility, Howard alters more shots of guys going to the basket by a long shot.

If Yao had just a smidgen more mobility it would make a huge difference.

Hm can't disagree with that. However, It's still close defensively because Yao still alters shots, rebound, blocks shots and is a very good post defender. There's a reason why most people would take Yao before Dwight in a playoff game because of his skill set and his size. You see big players and big centers in the playoff time, you don't in the regular season that much.

But who do you think is the better player though?
