Probably not many drum & bass fans here, but here's a D&B bootleg remix of MJ's Human Nature if anyone's curious. It was done awhile ago, nothing to do w/ his recent death. http://dnbshare.com/download/Human_Nature_vipL3_.mp3.html The identity is hidden, but I'm guessing it was done by Makoto if anyone's interested...it sounds like some of his other stuff.
A song about a killer rat is gold. <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/aSqo17o2a1w&hl=en&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/aSqo17o2a1w&hl=en&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>

Brotha, thank you so much for saying that. I've been thinking that over the past 24hrs as I've been watching the vids. Quincy Jones was/is bloody incredible. My goodness, I think he is another person that a lot of people take his work for granted. Plus, anyone that has Rashida Jones as an offspring is genius in my book.
My Top 5: Never Can Say Goodbye Rock With You Thriller It's The Falling In Love Wanna Be Startin Something Off The Wall>>>>>> Thriller
looks like the King of Pop is just dominating sales of music. A lot of online stores are running out of physical stock of his albums and itunes while it wont release its numbers is pretty obvious to see that he is heavily affecting sales today. http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20090626/ap_on_en_mu/us_michael_jackson_music_sales
I think I was like 10 years old when I watched Free Willy and heard that song. I didn't really pay attention to music, but I liked that song... it was passionate.
Don't know if anyone else has said it, but MJ was so great, there is no way you can limit it to just 5.
I was just about to post the same. I sat around thinking of 5 songs, but that led to another 5 which led to another 3 or 4. I gave up. I'll just say I liked way too many of his songs to pick just 5.
So, I've been listening to his stuff all day. The more I listen, the more I get bummed out that I was born after his prime. I really wish I was able to witness him in the Thriller days. There is really no one remotely close to him out right now... shoot in the last 20 years. <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/SgtWIx2zLtk&hl=en&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/SgtWIx2zLtk&hl=en&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object> It's a shame that the Jonas Brothers are the closest any group comes today to having fan reactions like this .
I posted this in the other MJ thread : http://www.ryanseacrest.com/blog/whats-happening/onair-with-ryan-seacrest-honors-michael-jackson
