I love Kurosawa's work. Seven Samurai is definitely his most entertaining movies. Outside of his more mainstream work, I really like his darker movies. If you can find it, I highly recommend "High and Low". IMO, it's one of his most intriguing movies.

for those of you who listed american psycho in your favorites, have you read the book? it has been my favorite movie for years, and i probably saw it 30 times before i read the book. and i have to say, the book is infinitely better. its 100x more violent and just has a better insight into patrick bateman's mind
