I’m confused. What tiebreakers does Portland have? As the 6 seed, aren’t they locked into pick #22?

Dallas, Portland and Lakers all finished at 42-30

Seeding is set but I guess they have to do coin flips to determine draft order?

Dallas won division (puts them ahead of Lakers/Blazers x 5th seed)
Lakers and Portland both finished 3rd in their respective divisions.

Playoff seeding tiebreakers and draft position tiebreakers are different. In determining draft order among teams with the same record, no head-to-head or any similar records matter. Draft position tiebreakers are determined by random "drawing". The Blazers are currently in a 3-way tie with the Mavs and the Lakers.

According to a tweet by Jonathan Givony, the random drawings to break ties for the draft is supposed to happen next Tuesday.

Is isn't the Bucks pick fixed at 24? If not, will the Miami pick remain at 18, or will it fluctuate depending on their playoff performance?

Good question. Bucks pick is fixed at 24. But Miami pick could slide from 18 to 19 if the Lakers miss the playoffs.

Draft picks are not affected by playoffs performance but rather affected by play-in games to the playoffs.

Are AD and Lebron fit and ready to play? A win tonight will be good for us.

Good, I didn't even focus on any of the play in or playoff teams.

    For the Rockets draft:

    Best scenario: #1, #21, #24
    Worst scenario: #18, #23, #24

This is first draft in a long time (6 years) that we have a 1st rounder and on top of that we have 3! Top that off with intrigue...

    - Our pick could be 1, 2, 3, 4 or 18
    - Port pick could be 21, 22 or 23

While we're all hoping for Best scenario, but if we can keep a pick in the Top 4 that will be a huge win. I wish DM would have had the foresight to make it Top 5 protected and we wouldn't be sweating this out. Not as concerned about the POR pick, but there are always guys that slip in the area we're picking and end up being good players. Really hope our scouting is busting their asses for that range of player.
