Tilman will select Johnny Juzang for marketing purposes.

Will you be content with Kuminga? He seems to have fallen down to number 5. Strong workouts can push him back into the top 4.

What is the Rockets "Magic Number" to finish in the top 3 of the lottery odds?

Man that's a tough question .... I think Cade and Mobley are the clear top two but after that , the next four could go in any order.

    I'd probably rank them #3 Green , #4 Jalen Johnson , #5 Suggs and Kuminga at #6

Interesting to note I think the wolves are stuck in a similar top 4 pick or bust situation as us

Or Markelle Fultz, or Josh Jackson, or Dragan Bender (great name though), or Jahlil Okafor, or Derrick Williams, or Cody Zeller, or Dion Waiters, or Michael Kidd Gilchrist, or Evan Turner, or etc...have to find a star with this hopefully top-4 pick. There is some luck involved as well.

I'm honestly not sure, but we've been suckier than most of the worst teams lately. lol. That blasted Mavs win was scary, though. Right now, we have something like 19 games left in the season and are 2 games ahead (well, behind) Detroit who has the 3rd worst record, but Orlando is right behind Detroit in the 4th spot. We just have to not win some games here. I also don't know how many games we have against the worst 5 or 6 teams left, so that would be another reason to be scared since we're capable of beating them (lol).

Also, even if we land in the 4th worst spot, our percentages of getting a top-4 pick just get reversed, so it won't be horrible. We just lose about a 4 or 5 percent chance of keeping our pick. Instead of a 52% chance of keeping our pick, we'd have something like a 48% chance, I think. I would love the top pick, but our odds of getting it are pretty low -- I'm more worried about keeping our pick. OKC's doing their best right now to have a shot at 2 high picks. lol.

Wolves are in the top 3 or bust. Much worse than the Rockets.

thought I saw something the other day that rockets had the toughest strength of schedule remaining. And if you look at the schedule that’s true. Like really. It’s a tough schedule.

True, only 2 games against early lottery teams. Magic and T-Wolves in the next 19 games.

If Rockets get 4th pick, Scottie Barnes should absolutely be a consideration over Kuminga and Suggs.

    Maybe even over Green too.

    Maybe.
