Yeah no doubt Blake had a nice career, but underwhelming compared to my expectations (I expected top 30 all time) of him. That's on me. In the last maybe 20 drafts I think I only had higher expectations for a handful of players than I did for Blake. Edit: sorry for derailing the thread
You misunderstand my expecting them to lose for me wanting them to lose ..... I want them to go 82-0 in the regular season and 16-0 in the playoffs ..... but reality is this team is going to lose close to 60 games and won't be anywhere near the playoffs. I only made the thread to separate this year from last ....
Yep. He's not fatty like Zion either. Dude looks legit and will probably go #1. Chet might be the next Slim Reaper though.
If you ask me , This draft is the one that's got "generational players at the top" ..... Not the last draft and that's not to slight Cade / Green / Mobley but they just don't have the same potential as Paolo or Chet. Chet's body does concern me - He' so rail thin. KD was listed as 6'9" 215 while at UT. Chet is 7'0" 195. Banchero is 6'10" 250 ..... Dude already has an NBA body.
I feel like Evan Mobley and Jalen Green look like they could be generational. But Banchero and Chet look moreso. Cade looks like a dude to me lol. I don't really see what scouts rave about. Giddey has looked more impressive to me.
I was waiting for this thread!! I like Holmgren. The french guy battling Holmgren in a recent tournament gets in the next draft? I think he got the best of Holmgren at Worlds.
The Rockets won’t be playing veterans that much and we are already on the Jalen Green train. In my opinion a top 4 pick is what the Rockets front office wants.
Blake Griffin, at least in terms of Win Shares for his career, is the most average (mean) #1 pick in NBA history. However, guys like Lebron and Kareem raise the mean so high that Blake Griffin comes in as the 20th most productive 1st overall guy.
Paolo isn’t the highest regarded prospect in 20 years. He’s still not even the consensus 1st pick in the draft. He’s a great prospect, but he doesn’t have the upside Chet or Duren has. I think he’s the safer pick of all the top guys. Likely to be a Carlos Boozer with better handles and 3 pt shot.
hmmm reminds me of andrew wiggins and jabroni parker hype.... interesting that these 2 are still both in the league and as irrelevant as ever...lololololol not looking good for tankers Spoiler well at least andrew wiggins is somewhat better than jalen green lololololol
