For those asking about chuck % <blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en-gb"><p>MT <a href="https://twitter.com/WhrOffnsHppns">@WhrOffnsHppns</a>: Top 15 "chuckers" in NBA last yr, as defined by highest % of touches ending in shots, FTs or TOs: <a href="http://t.co/RMq4gyxBo4">pic.twitter.com/RMq4gyxBo4</a></p>— Chris Herring (@HerringWSJ) <a href="https://twitter.com/HerringWSJ/statuses/484451516271853568">July 2, 2014</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
well that's stupid. All great centers would be high on the chuck% list, but rightfully so. That's what they are supposed to do. The whole offense is geared around getting them the ball so they can score. Kareem would probably be #1 of all time, I suppose.
A good way to measure it would be to eliminate players with less than, say, a 20% USG or something like that.
Agreed. But there is not a center on the list. And i do think is a nice stat to look into for non post players. Also it is not bad perse. But if that player on the list is not a pure shooter rebound garbage man or superstar there is a problem imho
