I doubt it. Instead of total # of posts, it would be more informative to see # of posts since reputation was implemented. And then, might as well put a RPP column (rep per post). And, while we're at it, RPP for hoops talk, for hangout, and for D/D separately would be cool. Man, I see a bunch of numbers on this board, and my mind wanders. I need the season to start.
Would be interesting to have a rep/post ratio -- Scribo would win by a mile, it seems? (No offense, DD )
If you do a quick calculation... DD has 1 rep point per every 122 posts, whereas Scribo averages approximately 1 rep point per every 5 posts. Of course that doesn't take into account the past 8 years where there was no rep system in place. durvasa's idea of getting post counts since the implementation of the rep system would shed a lot more light on it.
The posters Blametracy and mdrowe00 stand out to me. They have more rep points than posts I'm looking forward to being able to rep since there are tons of quality posts. I finally came to my senses and made a contribution. I'll send more your way soon Clutch
I suppose we can approximate it by considering points/day instead of total points. So, let's say I've posted 10 times per day since March 20th. My estimated rep "efficiency" is 312 / 10n, where n = number of days since rep system was put in place. So 31/n. Scribo's rep efficiency would be 284 / 0.6n. Though, actually, I believe Scribo has been posting much more frequently of late, so it may be more like 284 / 2n or something. That would put his efficiency at 142/n! Putting it another way, I'm Zach Randolph and Scribo is Tim Duncan.
This rep system is utter bull**** -- a guy who says 'that's no moon' every other post has 318 points !? Give me a break.
Oh please Copernicus - honestly tell me that you don't share my frustration -- the majority of threads on this BBS are ruined by 'That's no moon' jokes and the resulting back and forth between the 'moon' / 'no-moon' crowd.
You will address me as 13 forthwith. ... And I happen to believe the 'That's no moon' meme brings greater attention to the wonderful field of astronomy.

Some of these seem kind of fishy. I mean, some people have more rep points than posts, old boy's club stlye, "I'll rep you if you rep me" kind of thing.
