I really need to cut back. However, it has been a long time since I went out of town on a vacation. If I miss a week here, that average will go down. However, it's been a while since crispee posted and he's still averaging over 10 posts a day. Just imagine what his average was before he got married or maybe even a year ago.
Thats's just as bad. I still think that the bar for Sr. Member should be moved up to over 1000 posts (I supported this before I hit 1000 too, so dont even start with me on that) But maybe if you've been a member for more then 2 years with over 100 posts you should be a Sr. Member too.
1499 or less will be junior members , 1500 posts should be member 2000+ posts should be a senior member , 6000+ posts should be obsessed members
How about this criteria: 0-99 Jr. Member 100-999 Member 1000-2499 Sr. Member 2500-5999 Elite Member 6000+ Get A Damn Life or Obsessed works too.
....I think there should be a time qualifier also. For example, there are very high quality posters who have been here a while like Popeye, Rokkit and Doc Rocket (among a few others.) who don't post often. I think consideration should be made in regards to this.
How about this? Year 1: Rookie Year 2-4: Rising Star Year 5-10: Superstar Year 11-15: Veteran Year 16-20: Old Geezer Year 21+: Old Fart or..... 0-1,000 posts: Rookie 1,001-5,000 posts: Rising Star 5,001-10,000 posts: Superstar 10,001-15,000 posts: Veteran 15,001-20,000 posts: Old Geezer 20,001+: Old Fart At least it would make some of the newbies, that just post a bunch of jibberish to build up their post counts, have to work at it to advance to the next level. Also, these terms would relate more to basketball, except for the last two. It would also make advancing to the next level a little more prestigious. For instance, the board (as of right now) would only have 3 Superstars & none higher than that, based on total post counts.
I'm sure Lynus would be impressed that he's on there! By the way, he called last night and said he made it to Oklahoma safely. I'll let you know when I get a letter!
i think people with 705 posts or higher should be labeled: kick ass bbs poster or something of the sort
