You're right, very dissappointing. I think they also said he didn't have any money when he died to take care of those kids. the way Clyde screwed over UofH takes him off my list. Showing up 30 minutes before the game and you're the coach. Guys left their jobs to help him a UofH and he showed no dedication.
clyde was class.... he isn't a superstar so he probably wont make any lists.. but matt bullard was probably the classiest player I've ever met..
Hakeem should be on there no doubt, he makes donations, and keeps it on the Down low(this is based on an islamic principle, give so that not even your other hand knows how much you gave). Many times at the mosque he came and spent time with kids and adults alike, just chilling with them. None of this is ever on the news, or papers...
Clyde Drexler was not a superstar? How do you figure this? Edit: I now see you were saying that Matt Bullard was not a superstar.
Let me see if I can throw out a few different folks from some random pro 'sports'. Some of these guys are still pretty young with room to screw up. Lance Armstrong Tony Hawk Kelly Slater Pele' Ronaldo Mia Hamm Agassi Sampras Ali Foreman A few of them probably have some problems, but they seem like pretty good people overall. (edit) - whoops "all-time athletes" oh well maybe some of them will make it to that status someday...
Vin should be under "The Ugly". He's a screwup, but he hasn't exactly hurt anybody else. Replace him with Ruben Patterson.
Clyde Drexler... him being such a gentleman is one of the biggest reasons he's my favorite athlete of all time.
