1. Lebron James- Does everything you could ask from a player. 2. Kobe Bryant- I hate this guy, but he's unstoppable on the court. 3. Tim Duncan- Look at Lebron. 4. Kevin Garnett- Same as Lebron and Duncan. 5. Steve Nash- The ultimate PG, back-to-back MVPs were well deserved. 6. Dwayne Wade- Gets to the basket like no other, TO prone however. 7. Yao Ming- Consistency is the problem, can and will move up next season. 8. Elton Brand- Scores, rebounds, and defends, a do-it-all player w/ good attitude. 9. TMac/Dirk- Tmac is a Top 5 player when healthy, Dirk is a B$%ch. 10. Allen Iverson- He's the answer, period.
Consistency was not a problem after toe surgery last season unless you take into account the last game against Utah.
Half a season isn't a large enough body of work to say that consistency is no longer a problem. Now if he is consistent next season, and I don't see any reason why he can't be, then you can say his consistency problems are in the past.
I'm guessing you guys are including Ming in there due to his future potential. I wouldn't say he's top ten right now.
He was one of the best players in the second half of the season... going for around 25 and 10, there were very few who did that.
1. Kobe 2. Lebron 3. Dirk 4. Nash 5. KG 6. Duncan 7. Wade 8.Yao 9.T-Mac(top 5 when not injured) 10. Brand honorable mentions: Shaq, Billups, Marion, Iverson,etc.
Regarding consistency: Code: avg GS/g avg GS/40 pre-Allstar 14.0 (33.18%) 16.8 (33.33%) post-Allstar 20.8 (33.39%) 23.6 (30.31%) The numbers in paranthesis show average % difference from mean game score. First column looks at his stats, per game. Second column is looking at stats per 40 minutes each game. While it appears that he might have been more consistent per minute after the allstar break, this probably has more to do with the fact he was playing more minutes per game (so his per minute totals, each game, shouldn't vary as much).
I believe what you guys are saying about the top 10.. but that Team ( What) put up would still spank the Rockets
Yao Ming- Dwight and Ben tie for third Shaq oneal- Steve Nash - Best guards in the league...Gilbert pretty close.. Lebron James- Kevin Garnett- Love eltons game but would take these guys over him Dirk Dirka- in a second, Jermaine when Healthy is dangerous Tracy Mcgrady - Both better than Wade and any other 2-3 that Vince Carter- is not on this list. Tim Duncan- Kobe Bryant- obviously
Right about now. . Yao has far more Trade Value than T-Mac IMO T-mac has alot of WHEN HEALTHY by his name here I sit and think to myself. . . of the top 10 list Who would another team trade TMac for . . .not many Yao on the other hand .. . . . I think that we cuold get maybe one or two of the top ten T-Mac makes the list more on his past and has a big ole asterick because of this last season I'm serious not sure if T-Mac is Top 10 right now . .. . Lebron, Kobe, Wade, Nash, and Duncan Brand, Dirk, Yao, Pierce, and . . . . AI? Rocket River
No way is T-mac going in there. Hell, he won't even make my top 20 team. Dude, come on. It's only because this is clutchfans. 1. Kobe Bryant 2. Steve Nash 3. LeBron James 4. Dirk Nowitzki 5. Dwayne Wade 6. Yao Ming 7. Kevin Garnett 8. Shaquille O'Neal 9. Elton Brand 10. D Howard? Uh, Chris Paul? Uh, Prince?
top 10: LeBron Dirk Kobe Wade Garnett Carmelo McGrady (if healthy) Yao Brand Nash second 10: Marion Stoudemire (if healthy) Duncan Shaq Iverson Billups Pierce Ginobili Bosh Arenas third 10: Jermaine O'Neal AK47 Dwight Howard Bosh Chris Paul Gasol Artest Hinrich Vince Carter Jason Kidd
Is this when healthy? When healthy T-Mac is top 5 in anybodys list, when playing hurt, like this season--he's averaged 24pts, 7 rebs and 5 ass per game...torched detroit for 43 and spanked LeBron on TNT...
