I don't think so. She's all woman in my opinion.

But don't pretend this is the first time you've let out a little woman love.

Wow, I totally thought High Fidelity was made before 2000 for some reason. Love that movie.

I like Hero a lot, but Crouching is still the better movie IMO.

My top 10 of the decade:

    Gladiator
    LOTR trilogy
    Harry Potters
    Dark Knight
    Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon
    Casino Royal

As far as the "animated" releases go, I did like Up and Kung-Fu Panda.

Another Comedy that I should mention is the classic Harold and Kumar Go To White Castle.

I think Kung Fu Panda's release was the only year Dreamworks actually outdid Pixar (Wall-E).

    1. Old Boy- Best revenge movie of all time. I think Chan-wook Park has Scorsese like talent.
    2. The Lord of the Rings Trilogy- Epic filmmaking on an unprecedented scale.
3.Pan's Labyrinth- Guillermo Del Toro is all kinds of badass.
    4. No Country For Old Men- Haunting and powerful. The Coen Brothers are incredible.
    5. Memento- Incredibly compelling. More than a structural trick.
    6. Kill Bill series- I don't care who Tarantino stole from, these flicks ruled.
    7. Children of Men- In a decade of dystopian movies (and with such a miserable, depressing future realized), this one was the best of the lot.
8.The Incredibles- It may be a little neo-fascist at heart, but it was fantastic. Incredible, even.
    9. Grizzly Man- This documentary could also be called Dueling Crazies. Between the insane title character who died on his quest to commune with bears and the filmmaker, Werner Herzog, this broke the nutbar meter for all time.
    10. The King of Kong- A little documentary about video games that revealed a whole lot more.

Am I the only one to mention these two movies?

    Cinderella Man
    Munich

I've skimmed all 7 pages but didn't see either. I realize Munich is polarizing so I don't expect everyone to love it, but I know several people in my personal life who did. I figure someone on this board would too.

I've got it in my Netflix queue, but I'm on a PT Anderson kick right now, so I'll get to it eventually.

I can't believe only one person nominated The Fountain, great movie if you have an open mind. Highly recommended.

I'm surprised only a few people have mentioned City of God.

...Or maybe I just like it way more than others.
