http://www.askmen.com/sports/fitness_top_ten/38_fitness_list.html Just found this today and found it pretty interesting. I cant believe attendence turned out to be the most un breakable feat i thought Gretzkes record would rule all. There are some pretty big records on the list. Pretty good list there. For baseball, I'd say Ryan's K record and Cy Young's career win total won't even come close to being touched. Basketball: Hate to say it, but I think Stockton's assist record is almost untouchable also. Football: Jerry Rice's career TD total. OVERALL: I'd say Cy Young's win totals would be the hardest to break by far.
Well actually the Celtics have a bit of a jump on the Rox. But we will have the record for most titles in a row (Ten-peat ).
Yeah, but none of those teams are the Rockets, so they can't possibly beat the record of team with the most Rockets championships.
The more difficult record will be cy young. Not only does someone have to pitch well, they have to be willing to pitch more games than the current convention allows. All other records seem more likely to me. One good player, car, could get them.
Edwin Moses not losing a 400M hurdle race for 10 freaking years (close to 122 races I believe) should have been on that list. He is without a doubt one of the most underrated athletes ever.
i dont consider myself a ripken fan, but im glad they put him at number one. i think that one will stand the test of time, not because medicine is improving, but because people get traded and miss a game, or maybe are given a day off.
