1. 1st Round curse broken against Blazers. 2. 22 Game winning streak. 3. Drafting Yao. 4. 13 points in 33.5. 5. Stevie burns the Lakers for 44.
2nd round appearance last year. The only one that matters on the big stage and all it is is a single 2nd round appearance. 2000s have been very unkind to the Rockets.
obviously you have never seen Clutch City or Clutch City II. hint: Clutch didn't name himself that after T-mac hit a bunch of 3 pointers.
Are you kidding me? There's been more than enough great moments... 1. 13 in 33- I will never forget this for the rest of my life. If I remember anything from the Houston Rockets in the 2000s, it will be this. Like hitting the lottery. Twice. Impossible shot after impossible shot. The sublime drama. 2. Game 1 last year against Lakers- going from the pit in the stomach feeling of seeing Yao going down and limping to the locker room, then the high of him coming back and making clutch shot after clutch shot to upset the Lakers- amazing. 3. The Dunk- I remember feeling on top of the world and could look forward to years of deep playoff runs with our superstars during that game 4. Yao making Barkley kiss an ass- loved it 5. "You can't ****ing stop me!"- the dominant Yao we had all fantasized about had finally arrived. He put up 35-15 every other game, had the badass attitude to match, and was an MVP candidate that year. 6. Nachbar punking Karl Malone- I don't know why I remember this so well but I guess it was cuz it happened in the playoffs and it's always great to see your players stand up courageously against a detested opposing player 7. Beginning of Shaq Yao I- Wow- straight out of a fairy tale 8. Trading for Ron Artest- We now had 3 stars in their prime, along with an improved supporting cast. Morey had stockpiled so much talent that I seriously thought we were the favorites to win it all at that point. I remember alot of people on CF had been clamoring for Artest and his toughness and 3rd star abilities and how well he would fit our needs, upon hearing that Kings were trying to trade him. Well he delivered but our 1st and 2nd stars just couldn't stay healthy 9. "We want Steve!!"- the Franchise's returns home 10. Yao's behind the back dribble dunk against the Hawks- probably Yao's greatest individual highlight play
