Listen to it with a quality pair of headphones. You'll be amazed at the layers you hadn't heard before.

This album is brilliant, as usual. I downloaded it a few weeks back and I will be buying a copy after work.

Thank Brian Wilson for that... Good Vibrations was the studio music equivalent of the moon landing.

The artwork is amazing and TOOL's packaging of the album is brilliant, my office mate and I have been tripping on the artwork since getting back from lunch, let's just say TOOL has packaged the album in a way that makes it infinitely cooler to look at.....

I have been listening to the new album for a a few days now and I have got to say that I am dissapointed. When they decide to play actual songs the album is great but there are like 5 tracks and a bunch of interludes. I have been a tool fan a long time and I just expected more after a 5 year hiatus.

I have fought this exact feeling, there is a lot of filler on the CD and that is disappointing but the CD is still great overall and IMO gets better with repeated listenings.

Picked it up at lunch and drove around for a while--only listened to the first six or seven songs. The Pot was the only song that really stood out on the first go-round. i can't really decide whether it's really good or if there's a whole lot of wanking going on.

Picked it up, listening to it for the second time right now. It's definitely better the second time around, I think it will grow on me and become a favorite of mine.

Great language, I fully agree. I'm a bit let down by this album. There is a huge drop off between Vicarious, which I think is a top 5 of all time quality song, and the rest of the album.

I don't like how he's being too weird in his vocal rhythyms. It's like he's pseudo-rapping.

This took five years to make?

Actually, Brian Wilson is deaf in one ear and can't listen to music with headphones.
