I guess these guys are about to be the embodiment of the 711 WAS A PART TIME JOB meme.

 

It's ok if it's because they go against "American values".

 

The people getting in an uproar about this are just as bad as them for making it. Was it in bad taste? Yes. Did they apologize? Yes. If you don't like them, don't shop there and move on.

There are far more important things people could be getting in an uproar about... you know, maybe our $20 trillion debt, or our 2+ million incarcerated, or people starving. But nope, you hurt my feelings so I am going to burn your world to the ground!

 

My e-pitchfork is ready for the next outrage.

 

I think Big Boss Man and Prince Akeem tearing the Megapowers and Miss Elizabeth asunder would make more sense.

I'm not sure if there ever will be a time where something like this is appropriate. If someone made a commerical pretending to bomb pearl harbor it would still be offensive today. Just weird and even weirder that the people who made this would have thought it would be OK and comical. To be honest I'm not even so much offended, I just think the commercial is stupid.
