When Jews take a stand against their Nazi like country, Israel, then maybe I would think they are genuine. As such, they just try to guilt people into apologies when they haven't been the slight but injured.

I was about to get pissed at this SW Center for being ridiculously PC, because I thought this may have happened without Tony realizing it (didn't know what the gesture looked like), but there is really no excuse for doing this on purpose with the guy who invented it. Just very poor judgement on Tony's part. Probably deserves a fine or a small suspension.

EDIT: Just read shastarocket's post. If Tony didn't know about this, blaming him is silly.

there have been hate crimes, attacks on synagogues and people, because of this sign. i'm not sure that counts as "haven't been the slightest bit injured."

saying they should take a stand against their nation before you sympathize with anything done against them is like an al qaida leader saying american's should take a stand against our government before they sympathize with our suffering from their attacks. in other words, you support hate crimes against those you hate.

this comedian is popularizing hate, and his followers are becoming dangerous. by recruiting people like parker only spreads his vision to parker's followers and increases the chance for further vandalism and attacks. parker should issue an apology (which never does anything anyway) at the very least.

Without some evidence that Tony intentionally was trying to disrespect a particular racial group, I see no justification for punishing him. Clearly there isn't unanimous opinion on what the gesture even means.
