It's been raining cats and dogs here in San Antonio, especially yesterday morning. It's finally slacked off, but the ground can't hold any more water. Some of the schools and colleges were cancelling classes yesterday afternoon. Actually, right now I keep checking and seeing if by any chance they'll cancel today's, so I can quit working on this presentation that's due today and go sleep. Like a kid looking for a snow day. But it's not doing anything right now. It will be good if this stuff passes us by. It was hard to get around town yesterday with some of the low water spots.
I was just happy to get my motorcycle out this morning. I have a 3 mile trip to work, so miles don't add up very fast.
Got an email from my dad saying they had 19 INCHES of rain in Marble Falls. No city water for the past day or two, so they are trucking it in from surrounding communities. My grandmother lives on the high side of town up on a hill, so thankfully she is ok, and the cattle out at our place were smart enough to find high ground. Crazy.
Would've been better if the rain was during the parade. Btw, I like your sig, it got me chuckling for some reason.
I can't believe it's still f'n raining...crazy...I think it was sunny and hot the first week of June, then nothing but rain...Another round tonight...
