I just LOL. I can totally see why you love that show. I think it's pretty damn funny as well. I'm not going to write anything down though.

When Family Guy comes back (and it will dammit), it'll blow all these shows out of the water.

I have all of the first 2 seasons on computer (off of Kazaa). You can download it there or I can upload to a webspace or something...

The rumor that it was ending in 2 years was due to the fact that Scrubss was only going to follow JD through his 4 year intern/residency thing. That's what I heard, anyway.

You are my new best friend. If you can upload it to a webspace I would truly, truly appreciate it. E-mail me through the BBS if you're willing to set this up. I can procure some webspace for ya.

One problem...you have set your profile to NOT receive email through the board, drapg. No scrubs for you...:( :p

Thanks for the heads up ManRam.

Oh, and if uploading all those files is too much of a hassle, I'd be willing to pay you for a burned CD of the files (if you have a CD or DVD burner, that is)

Whatever is easiest for you, my man!

There is gonna be a family guy DVD movie. Can't wait. IIRC, Fox also asked Seth McFarlane to come up with a new show.

Speaking of tv show DVD's and England, I freaking need to get my hands on the Fawlty Towers Box.

Err, no. Friends is hugely popular here (God knows why, it descended into self-parody in about the fourth series), much more popular than Coupling. Apart from the fact there are six main characters, it's very different. Friends lives and dies by "witty" throw-away lines, Coupling is about situational comedy. Admittedly, it is quite British, so it maybe won't appeal to US audiences. I don't understand why US TV networks feel the need to re-make UK programmes, we certainly don't remake 24, or Six Feet Under. Particularly if you're going to keep the same script.

for a long time nbc had the best sitcoms going, but with Frasier dying about 3 seasons ago and friends falling off and i guess Just Shoot Me going away, it's fallen to 2nd for me. friends, will and grace, and scrubs are pretty much all i watch from it each week.

how anyone can rate ABC the highest is beyond me, but hey, to each his own.

cbs is my new favorite. king of queens (why did they move this to wednesday dammit), everybody loves raymond, yes dear (well this one's only okay), still standing (really funny), and 2 and a half men (thought i would hate it, but have loved it the first 3 weeks) are all shows i watch every week.

i can't decide if everybody loves raymond or scrubs is my favorite. i $%#%# missed scrubs this week b/c i forgot it was thursday but damn that show is genius. i've been watching since the beginning but man i'd love to go back and see them all again. i love having dvr for scrubs b/c i'll go back and listen to jokes 2 or 3 times and laugh harder each time.

There isn't much worth watching on Television these days, but in one thread I find two of my favorites mentioned. Scrubs, and Life with Bonnie. Scrubs is smartly written, funny, and something different(or at least not overdone). Bonnie Hunt is one of the best out there. I love that she's stayed true to her improv routes with the show. I would think the public more saavy TV viewers if those shows were #'s 1 and 2 in the ratings.

I watch Larry David and Carnivale on HBO, and I really like those series a lot.

Recently a bizzare thing started happening. I have the Western Channel on my cable and I started watching the really old Gunsmoke episodes. They are very well written and the acting(especially by the guests who play interesting characters) is top notch. I was surprised at the quality of the show. I have twenty episodes taped now.
