Tito is a more solid backup PG than Tierre. I really like his play and can see great potential in this kid.

yea same here, he knows how to draw the attention and dish it when needed, but he has a lot of work to do. I like his handles.

The main thing is that he keeps his head on straight when the pressure is on him. Although he had some rookie mistakes, he was able to maneuver out of the traps the Suns were throwing all night. Tierre forces it too much and it leads to T/O, although he did have some good moments too.

    Ugly game..period

    Bright spots....
Collier actually looked decent.. got lots of boards (12 I think)
EG really started up in the later part of the game..
Boki got more touches...a good pass or two..took a good shot..
    Rice still looks pretty good..

    Bad Spots
Not enough movement..Tmo injured his ankle
Stoudmire kid is for real..needs work on those FT tho..
Tito still real reckless out there..
Boki missed when he was alone on the floor.. no one anywhere near him..

    3 in a row!

I thought everyone played pretty well, except for T-Mo. Collier didn't miss a shot and made some tough ones, too. Eddie G. was impressive, especially on the boards. By the way, Amare is huge. Boki missed some open shots, but moved around really well, made a highlight pass and had a steal. I'm excited to see more from Mo T. and everyone else, really. Yao is on his way and Stevie is going to play soon. Everything looks in place. Rice looks healthy. Cat is playing well. Cato got abused a bit by Stoudamire:( . I missed why KT didn't play? Tito did some good things, too. I'm ready for the Raptors:D !

How badly did T-Mo look after his injury?

Nachbar had two made shots taken away on bad plays by other Rockets. I wouldn't worry... he will make an impact this year. Griffin was a little out of control, but rebounded well and blocked three (seemed like more). Maddox settled down and played well later i the game. Torres and even Collier looked good. Some tough choices to be made... and some good players will see lots of pine time.

When did Morris injure his ankle? I missed it. Did it look bad?

Did anyone else notice the size of Stoudemire's feet? Bob Lanier would be envious.

Also, I did't watch the whole second half, but when I did, I noticed that they ran the 5-man offense a little. Maybe they are trying to work it in for a full game?

He got up under his on power and walked (light limp) to the locker room. So it looks like a minor sprain at worst.

Keep them all! Even Collier!? However, goodbye Mikael. He hustled, but nothing special. A shorter KT.

Maddox can play. Good pick. He might beat out Pierre or even Moochie eventually.

Oscar is our big two. He was holding his own with Marion as a sg.

    Boki looked better.

Maurice can play. He looks slimmed down. Can shoot and handle. Still short arms, but he can bang, score and pass.

Collier atually deserves to be #15, the fourth string center,

Eddie finally looked like he has made big gains.

We have an incredible amount of talent. We're back. No need to trade any of them, but we now for the first time in years have the talent to make a key trade when and if we find that we are a player a way from a deep playoff run. Before the only players we get much for were Steve and Cuttino. Everyone else was too old or not much of a talent.

    I'm very encouraged.

on the radio gene said tmo's ankle swelled up immediately in the locker room and they took him to the hospital for x-rays. hopefully it's not bad.

amare is a beast out there, but then again cato tried guarding him so you never know. griffin looked very impressive again, had a nice block on stoudamire and the little mid-range jumper constantly in gugliotta's face. mo is getting more and more comfortable looking. had a great play where he backed in amare then turned and threw it down. looks like he's getting his agility back. those 2 were really going at it.

Agreed glynch. Now I don't want to get too excited about Jason Collier, but he can shoot. If he's finally healthy then I don't know about 4th string C. He can do a lot of things Cato can't do. I was at the game, when was it?, 2 years ago when Collier battled Shaq somewhat impressively and we upset the Lakers in the a, um, Summit.

Mo T has really slimmed down. All those 300 lbs. fat jokes were just stupid- the guy can move. Although, he looked like he had a little restricted movement in his leg still.

I was a little disappointed in Tmo's shooting today - i was expectin him to come out STROKIN, but he reminded me of the Tmo of last year with his shooting performance today.

The thing about Morris is that he is the PERFECT Sf for us if he is shooting well. His defense, his rebounding, his ability to do the "little things" - it's all we could ever hope for in a sf. Take for instance tonight, I was actually not worried about Marion when Tmo was on him. But put Rice or even Nachbar on Marion, and he will blow past them and take it to the rack.

HOpefully, Tmo's off shooting performance is an abberation from the norm this year. Here's to tmo's speedy recovery!

Also, that was a SWEET off the dribble jumper by Boki.

Stoudemire was impresive but most of his points were mostly dunks. In the real season, people box out or put a body on you, its only the preseason dont get on stoudemire's jock just yet.
