    Kukoc is a sixer.

    Hughes and Owens are warriors.

people were saying larry brown got rid of tim thomas because he wouldn't play defense at that 3 spot... so they get Kukoc, an even worse defender? btw, chicago gets a warrior first rounder, doesn anyone know what year?

Is Hughes a Shooting guard or Forward? Anybody clear on what his natural position was at St Louis... when he wasn't robbing grocery stores. I thought he was a forward, but I'm hearing he's only like 6'5.

    psj:

hughes is a natural 2 guard. such was the impetus for the trade. with allen ive there and snow at the point, there was no room for hughes to get his minutes. he doesn't have the handles to play the pg spot, and allen shoots too damn much to play the pg spot. so it became hughes @ the 2, behind the leading nba scorer. in other words, no minutes. so, here we are.

Chicago gets pick this year if it isn't in the top 3 picks. If it is a top 3 it becomes the 2001 pick.

Actually, Orlando has Golden State's lottery pick this year, completing the 1993 Chris Webber-for-Anfernee Hardaway trade. Chicago gets some future 1st round pick.

    To clarify, from ESPN.com
"The draft pick that goes to Chicago is Washington's pick left over from the Chris Webber trade. If it's in the top three picks this year, the Bulls have to wait for an unprotected No. 1 pick in 2001."
