What's funny is this - two things. One - Steve was at the Comets game today. He told Berman an Feigen that he'd give them an interview after the game. They both came up mid-game and waited. Any question as to the player (3) was that ducked (3) out early without giving the interview(3)? To my knowledge, they did NOT get the interview...but we'll see. They were pissed after the game because ALL their camera crews were up there. Berman's good so maybe he DID get something...we'll see tonight! Two - Steve said the deal was DONE Saturday evening. He actually thought it would be announced late Sat or Sun. Now, he's heard that it WILL be Monday. Remember this, I can't assure anyone anything. All I know is exactly WHAT I was told. If it doesn't go down tomorrow well, I'll spend the day remembering my first Shandon Anderson story! As for JVG and Steve being pals-get real. They never liked liked each other or got along. Those rumors are from the wonderful source of the ESPN boards. It was just a trade that someone posted as something they'd like to see. Don't think there are any "sources" to that rumor.
If you don't recall Doc used to put in some off the wall reference in his posts that were obtuse references to the facts he was intimating. It would be like the Doc of old to put the Warrior to Warrior refence in there if he thought there was a secondary deal that involved Golden State. Actually, even that would be too literal but maybe this is happening too quicklyto allow for extra creativity. (It's hard to write riddles at a Comets game)
Yeah, that trade Stevierebel mentioned is the one rumored on different Orlando boards. I agree HeyDude, I'd rather have Cat. Richardson isn't that great a shooter, Cat is a deadly outside shooter to go along with being a slasher and outstanding defender and ball-handler.
