If that is from the official NBA wire, that means the deal was consumated yesterday and sent through the league offices and all that crap about meeting today was just bull****.

Weisass really doesn't know how to handle a professional transaction. I imagine someone will take him out to lunch to explain it to him, so he isn't out to lunch next time.

I think he felt embarrassed after spilling too many beans, then overreacted by spewing falsehoods instead of just keeping his mouth shut (like CD's office did).
