Even if the info you heard turns out to be wrong, keep supplying us with everything you hear Doc - your threads are why most people visit the GARM!

all these hangups are really bothering me. Dont get me wrong, i have the utmost faith in the integrity of Doc's "intelligence" but i'm really beginning to think that this whole trade will be dead within 72 hrs if this thing isnt resolved very shortly. I really hope i'm wrong..but i'm losing faith by the hour.

ESPN News just reported that the meeting between Francis and Magic has been rescheduled for tomorrow. Great, another day of waiting!

Well, the fact that GMs are going to be wary is going to hurt his bargaining power. And two Orlando articles ripping Feigen, wow how shocking. Are these the same people that said the deal was complete, but wasn't complete, but is complete except it isn't complete?

Those articles were a bunch of crap. Not once did either one refute anything that Feigen said. They just said that Weisbrod was no "pushover", but that doesn't mean he still not a moron in the eyes of other GM's.

Mum on the deal? He's come and out and said the past several days that "we're in no rush" & "I want to see the white of Steve's eyes". The guy is claiming "nothings close to done" and then rolling out the welcome mat for his new PG, what a tool.

Oh, and I'm sure that there will be backlash for Mr. Weisbrod one way or another. The GM's that have been in this business that he's been trying to jerk around have all called his bluff. You know why? Because T-Mac has shown his hand by only wanting to sign with Houston. He should have known that he was never going to get equal value for Tracy, and he runs the risk of getting even lesser value for him as more days pass by.

Yeah, the guy was being a shrewd negotiator by trying to get Phoenix and Indiana to gut their rosters for T-Mac but they wouldn't bite. So now after Colangelo called his bluff and traded the #7, and Bird looks to trade Al Harrington elsewhere you better believe that GM's are taking note. It's like joining a exclusive club and trying to earn respect by pissing people off. I'm sure that's how you go about it. Instead of playing Jeckyle & Hyde he should have told the media "no comment" after Francis' agents leaked the story. He tried to live up to that Harvard MBA before earning respect around the league, and when you're the new guy in town I don't think that's how you do it.

I do hope that he continues to drag this out. I hope he enjoys the spotlight for the moment & enjoys weighing his phantom "options". Because then after Tyronne Lue opts out and Francis' contract equals its full value Carroll Dawson can pull Cato out of the deal. Weisbrod wants to act like he's in control, but he's making himself to look like a fool outside of the borders of Florida.

It seems to me that someone decided to drag this out. Whether it was Francis or boy genius up in Orlando, this crap is probably going another day. Absolute joke.

You know, I don’t mind MacBeth repeating pretty much the same thing I said several posts later because I’m pretty sure he didn’t do it on purpose.

But it’s frustrating seeing him get credit for the “great post” when I was the first one to make the point.

Oh, well. End of whine … can’t wait for tomorrow!
