In defense of the Doc, if he was talking with Steve at the Comets game and he was on on the phone with his agent it may have seemed like it was a done deal for today, but the PR guys for the Magic may not have had their input yet.

Nope. In fact, there were *two* articles in the Orlando media today essentially ripping Feigen a new one. Weisbrod doesn't care what everyone else thinks about what's going on. Plus, he's been mum on the deal for several days now -- that's a long time for something to change in the NBA. And there will be no lasting repercussions from what has gone on. GMs wanted to vulture around Weisbrod to see if they could rip him off. He played it for all it's worth, getting what he wanted out of it. I don't agree that it's the best deal, but he's getting his deal. Other GMs are going to be wary for the sole fact that they don't want to come out on the losing end of a deal. Good riddance, Tracy McGrady.
