I dunno how I feel about this. Is Thibodeau better than McHale?

In connection with the Rockets, some say Thib is a JVG clone. Some say JVG's defense was actually Thib's defense.

The thing is...Houston is already better defensively we were the top 2 defense at one point so why bother adding a defensive specialist when the assistant coaches like JB Bickerstaff already got that covered? Thibs seems like a good X-n-O's guy but if you watch Chicago games you'd see how he basically wore down Luol Deng to a nub. In fact if I remember correctly THibs also developed Yao Ming, so maybe his style played a part in Yao Ming's injury issue as well.

I think player management is an integral part of being a coach, i don't really care about seeding in the regular season so I'd be pissed as hell if Harden n Howard got injured in the playoffs because they tried to win too hard during the regular season. I like the staff the Rox have now, unless we get a clear upgrade like Carlisle or Popovich then I'd rather just stick with Mchale and his crew.

Thib's was responsible for the Celtic's D...and we all saw how amazing that was. That's the reason he got the job in Chi.
