The man sold out the American voters. He participated in bribery that reduced the influence of voters.

He should be in prison, real prison, for life.

Not surprised at all a Texas court threw this out. Probably involved more money slipped under the table.

He will be featured in a 2085 history book covering the collapse of American representative democracy. It will be in the latter chapters, and the book will be written in a Chinese dialect.

How they think they can do this without it looking like total corruption, I just don't understand.

Easy... Wait until people have forgotten about Tom DeLay (like right now) and then go ahead and do it.

Poll most people in Texas and you'll probably find that people totally forgot about that scandal.

    For:
    Melissa Goodwin (R)
    David Gaultney (R)

    Against:
    J. Woodfin Jones (D)

Behold the power of Gerrymandering. The Texas Republican Party has a stranglehold the CCP can only dream of.

That part I get, but you left out the part where it still looks like total corruption.

not surprised. Neocons have pretty low if any moral values. Just read texxx's, talanvor's, or gwayneco's posts here.

don't let bigtaxxx derail, folks. Tom Delay is rock bottom as Americans go, no matter how you slice it.

Whatever judges could do this, and accept their dirty money, should burn in hellfire in the afterlife, and burn in the fire of citizen rage while on Earth.

Their names have been listed. If you're outraged, place a phonecall.
