Maybe Cruise was a little extreme with his observations, but anyone who attacks his religion needs to just shut up. You probably know nothing about it. I was curious about what he was talking about so I went out and got the book the religions based on. I'm halfway through Dianetics and it's not bad. Stop pushing the media stereotype and pick up a book. You're the same idiots who push the whole Mormons have multiple wives joke. Sorry this whole thing is annoying me.

    :) Anyway, stay in school!

I researched it and it's something I don't want to touch.

Irrespective of Cruz' motivations, there is a fairly well documented bias against all things Psychiatriac in Dianetics which can be traced directly to conflicts between Hubbard and the American Psychological Association because the APA believed that Hubbard was making what amounted to medical claims about his religion, and it's ability to make you happy.

Before the row, Hubbard had nothing to say on the medical establishment. Afterwards, anyplace that he could attack it, he did.

BTW, in 1950, dianetics charged $500/month to be a member. God only knows what it is now. That doesn't sound like a religion to me. Here is a link to an admitedly anti-Scientology site which quotes Hubbard's own corepondences to provide proof that at best Hubbard didn't exactly consider Dianetics as a purely religious venture.

Also, FYI, Hubbard's wife and most of the top members of the Church were convicted in 1977 of Conspiracy against the Government of the United States for Operation Snow White, which is still in terms of pure number of people involved the largest espionage ring ever to be discovered and Hubbard was listed as an unindicted co-conspirator. Here is a link to the Smoking Gun, with FOIA gov't documents which paint Hubbard as sort of a cross between Philip K. Dick and Charles Manson.

Finally, in case you were unsure of Scientology Doctrine, here's the Wikipedia entry on Xenu, a figure in the religious dogma of the "church".

Not really. It's probably just a coincidence, but I'll play along anyway.

Here are some personality traits typical of ENTPs.

They like to change their mind or change direction.

    They don't like repetition.

    They work well with people.

They are said to have 15 year old brains in 7 year old bodies, so it wouldn't be unusual for a kid ENTP to enjoy conversations with adults and to ask tons of questions.

As kids they take toys apart because they want to see how they work, once they get a little older they like to fix things like VCRs or computers.

They don't like following specific directions, instead they do things their own way and it usually works.

In sports they understand the mental aspects of games sometimes before they understand the physical aspects.

Bill Russell, my favorite athlete of all time is an ENTP so was his running mate Bob Cousy and coach Red Auerbach. Sam Cassell, Cuttino Mobley, Vin Baker, David Wesley, and John Lucas are some past and current Rockets that are ENTPs.

That concludes my second needless lesson in braintypes. Thanks.
