Gee. Thanks for the warning (or was it a threat). Spouting the Al-Qaeda company line, are we? Tom Cruise just bought a condo in the Chelsea Mercantile building right above... Whole Foods Market (rH, start your stalking...). If he was so concerned about terrorism, why did he buy a multi-million dollar condo in NYC after 9/11? He's been spotted in the neighborhood many, many, many times. Oh, right, it's just a winter home for the upcoming nuclear winter in New York.

Tom's just spouting off, getting attention. Didn't Warren Beatty do the same? Why listen to actors? Are they politicians? Does their opinion really matter more than say a janitor or bus driver? I think most of them are quite dumb and are out of touch with the America you and I live in (judging from Politically Incorrect and other self-serving vapid interviews). Take their views with a grain of salt.

I love hearing people getting all worked up about a celebrities opinion, then saying they don't care about their opinion.

I could care less where Tom Cruise lives. Just keep making movies I like.

Always nice to see a good caring father dump his wife and then bail out on the raising of his kids.

    Good job Tom...

Huh? They have joint custody and he's contemplating moving to Australia because that's where Kidman lives. Where does it say he's skipping out on his children?

Go try living somewhere else and tell me how safe you feel when the military that defends you is a squadron of kangaroon. Good luck Tom.

    Yes RM95,

I read it, and by both of us I assume he means the legion of nannies that he employees to do the job that he signed up for.

I don't have much respect for actors, it is the most overated profession in the world.

    IMHO, of course.

    :)

Every time I hear Tom Cruise or John Travolta speak (outside of a movie), I always think of the movie Bowfinger and Mind Head.

These men are no longer allowed to formulate their own opinion, so why should their quotes mean anything to anyone?

Yeah, Cruise is such an upstanding citizen, having an affair on his wife. All class that Cruise! He can leave the country if he wants, I never cared for the guy anyway. He sure cared enough about "America" to make millions of dollars here. As for leaving because of terrorist, hello terrorist are bombing ALL the countries! Australia sent troops to help against Al Qaeda so it's dangerous there to! Obviously England is in danger. In fact EVERY country is in danger, Al Qaeda said so himself.
