If you don't agree with what I say, fine, but don't assume you know something and others don't. I had personal experience of major depression myself, did you?
I stumbled across this. Evidently it was Will Smith who was interviewing his buddy Tom about Scientology! <object width="500" height="300"><param name="bgcolor" value="#0000000" /><embed type="application/x-shockwave-flash" src="http://www.iklipz.com/flashplayer/FLVPlayeriKlipz.swf?configFile=http%3A//www.iklipz.com/flashplayer/servers.xml&streamName=def9139e-865c-4d76-8338-703281a78b52&movieID=095ee98e-24d3-4d48-bcff-8ecf45fabca8&photoName=71f088c8-b679-4aef-8037-5252250a1a44.jpg&isFullScreen=false" allowScriptAccess="always" width="500" height="300" /></object>

I saw that Jerry Minor (short stint on SNL and Trigger Happy TV) directed this. I was wondering what the connection was when I just started watching an ep of that show "Carpoolers" and they both star in it.
I really liked Jerry O'Connell. Its a pity that this silly spoof is the last thing he will ever do in Hollywood.
Actually he's "doing" her in Hollywood: And something in this thread is causing my Firefox to crash repeatedly.
I hate to tick off some potential Scientologists here, but check out xenu.net Seriously. Fact check the hell out of this site. Go on.
I think the religion is very bogus. However, what Tom Cruise is saying has some truth to it. I agree with him that medications and things like that mask the problem and arent curing it...and that you need to get to the source of the issue to cure whatever ailment there is. However, since when does every medicine have to "cure"? My father is a psychiatrist, so Ive had my fair share of exposure to people with mental problems. The purpose of 95% of his treatment is to allow people to live out their every day lives in the best possible way they can. He doesnt prescribe to cure them...he does it to allow them to live a normal life. Ex. When there is a war veteran who can't get images out of his head and who cant sleep for more than 2 hours at a time because of nightmares...how do you get to the issue and cure it with medicine? Pretty tall task there. You help the person cope with the problem and the medication is meant as a mask, to allow the person to live out as normal of a life as possible. Unless Tom Cruise has fought in a war outside of a movie, I doubt he has any room to talk at all. Same example could be used when talking about the 27 year old female who was repeatedly molested by her grandfather when she was a child. The purpose of medicating is not always meant to be a cure...and that is where Tom Cruise is way off the mark.
The problem with Scientology isn't even so much what they believe as much as the incredibly wicked things that they practice. The way they prey on their members is so wicked that they have actually been banned in certain countries. They guard their "secrets" fiercely and will unleash hordes of lawyers and lawsuits upon anyone who dares infringe on their "copyrights". If you put out anything that either paints them in a bad light or is part of their Xenu books or whatever they'll send the lawyers after you and will try to destroy you until you comply. Members have to pay a huge sum of money (far more than they can afford) to join the organization, so once you join, you are dependent on them for survival. Once you are in, you have to continue to pay money to attain new higher levels of "knowledge". They monitor everything you do and don't allow you to talk to friends and family alone. This is a sick, twisted cult. If you think the Xenu stuff and the anti-psychology teachings are what makes them wacko, you haven't even seen the half of it.
Tom Cruise is an idiot and Scientology is a joke.....I mean I consider most religions questionable, but at least grounded in history. This one though is founded on a bet...by a SCIENCE FICTION writer...I mean COME ON....how ****ING stupid do you have to be? DD
Ah, that pic has potential for captioning: "Ladies and Gentlement of the jury, for your consideration: Exibit A...and Exibit B. I rest my case."
Gotta give it to the guy...coming up with Xenu and having people believe you...I want that job. So I can retire and play video games all day.
The highest level you can reach in Scientology? I just find it funny that this religion can be so secretive. Most religions are an open book, trying to reach out and enlighten people. Yet Scientology is behind a locked fence trying to knock down any mention of it w/ it's army of lawyers. Not to mention it costs a lot of money to get inside the 'fence'.
ultraman on SNES was awesome although it was pretty hard. I remember i could never beat the last guy, no matter how little health he had. I played that damn thing for a month and finally just gave up. I went back to play it a few months later and somehow stumbled across his "ultra" move, which had to be performed to finish the opponent. the book didnt mention anything about a finishing move!
