I'm a huge Brady fan so this might sound bias but the guy deserves to make his own retirement announcement. I recognize Schefty and that other guy wants to break the news first because that's their job but the GOAT should be exempt from that "rule".
He can talk his wife into one more year if he plays his cards right. Get them honey-do's in now and by mid training camp she will be ok with another kitchen pass for 2022.
I am enjoying watching the full-game footage with interviews on espn2, that's what I've had on in the background all morning. At some point I will reach peak Brady overload.
I have cheered against Brady his entire career and......... approve your message Winning, winning, and more winning Brady had the best argument for GOAT before Tampa despite the whole "Belichick or Brady" thing. Then what happens??.... He leaves Hoody and wins again while New England misses the playoffs and/or never advances.
It's been all fun and games for Brady for at least 5-7 years now. Wouldn't surprise me if he plays until his knees give out.
Mahomes could stay completely healthy and do what he's done so far until he's 40...and would still be behind Brady in Super Bowls and yards.
I don't see 'retire' anywhere in that post... regardless Brady's career is forever tarnished by deflate-gate and nothing can repair that damage.
Probably mean Gronk retires (or goes elsewhere like LA). Bruce Arians should retire too. He's too old for the rebuild that is likely coming.
