Yeah, I'm disappointed in myself for that one. And once I put it down, it became too hard to pick it up (if I start playing, I can pretty much forget getting anything done). But all this stuff has finally made me decide to pick up where I left off. Too bad that means putting my playthrough of Darksiders on hold...and other games. And yeah, getting the platinum for Demon's Souls must have been ridiculous. Anyway, another trailer. I think I've mentioned it before, but Castlevania Lords of Shadows is looking pretty good. I think there's some gameplay videos as well. I've been a bit on the fence for this game, but I think I'm pretty close to sold on it. Looks great. Don't know how Castlevania fans feel (kind of get a sense that this is far from the usual for Castlevania), but I definitely feel hooked. Hope the game turns out to be great.
I got lucky and picked up the pure Bladestone in just under 30 minutes. I went back from 4-3 and was racking up 180k souls every minute so I didn't mind too much. I've heard nightmare stories about that getting that stone. The rest just kind of came through multiple playthroughs. That and taking out the crystal geckos pretty consistently. I got the platinum in NG++.
