In all seriousness, pre-Harden trade Morey probably would have traded Jalen this Summer for picks, and tradeable contracts. There is a school of thought where once you figure out if a player is capped in their potential, and have positive net value, you cash in, and stockpile assets to go get a bigger fish.

Not saying that's what I would encourage or want Stone to do, BUT it certainly is a strategy... and one we've seen here in the past not too long ago.

I'd go all out to get Quentin Grimes. His age fits our timeline, and he's proven to be an explosive yet consistent scorer.

He's picked up too much steam. His value is out our league. Go for Ty Jerome, he's in a stacked team that cant offer him the contract or role that he wants.

I remember asking for Reaves before he signed that contract. I don't think our GM has my visionary skills

He’s a restricted free agent and the Sixers are already $44 million over the cap—so they’ll definitely have to think twice before matching any offer, especially if it’s anywhere near $30 million. I like our chances.

    absolutely would .

You'd have to shuffle things and pieces around

Jalen is bad , not a smart player.

You can argue harden is a choker , but hes not dumb.

Harden and Amen on the floor together would be nasty. If reed or cam can shoot that fills a spot. Bari , Tari , Sengun .

You'd need to move FVV tho .

Udoka would sneak into Harden's hotel room and snuff him out in the middle of the night. In no universe would Udoka put up with Harden's lackadaisical approach, especially on defense. Two men would enter, one man would leave. It wouldn't work.

Harden exercised his player option. He is remaining a Clipper.

Just stop. The Harden era is over.

The Rockets will maneuver FVV's contract one way or another and move into Phase 3 of the rebuild, which I can confidently say will not include James Harden.

You can dream. But the Harden era is over.

They both have exactly $35mm contracts for next season so the dollars do work. But Harden has 1 year left while Jalen has 3 or 4 years left. Why would the Clippers do that trade? Who would they run at PG?

I just can't imagine any world in which either team would do that trade.

I would also trade Jalen for Luca.

I would trade my 10yo car for a Lambo.

Sure, you can say stuff but why? It's simply not realistic so not worth discussing, IMO. But knock yourself out. I'm gonna stop responding to all these folks that keep holding onto this odd James Harden infatuation. I just find it so weird and I guess I get baited in.

Prime Harden with Sengun would have been so cool to watch. Someone who could actually get Sengun the ball and hit tons of 3s. The pick and rolls would be unstoppable.
