Very sorry for your loss. But just thought I'd point out there are hundreds and thousands of dogs, usually in perfect health (or at least they were before the got to the pound) who are killed in Houston city shelters every year. When you're ready for another dog, I encourage you to go that route. Moreover, if you are in Houston, I'd be more than happy to help you work with some foster groups. Heck, we are fostering a female pit mix in our garage right now. She is precious. Made her way to the pound pregnant, had a bunch of puppies, someone kindly took her and the puppies out of BARC, but just left her at a local kennel, where she was for quite a while when we decided to at least give her a little more room in our garage. Whatever the case, sorry about your loss again.
Give it a rest, dude. Sorry for your loss, man. I'd never been a huge dog guy until my ex and I got one. I miss that sucker, but it's nothing like what you're going through. I'm so excited about getting my new dog with my new girlfriend. She already has her but the dog's living with her dogparents in College Station. Next time I see Ellie, I'm gonna give her a little longer hug. Hang in there. And look forward to the memories you'll make whenever you decide it's time to move on to a new pup.
Pet Semetary. Do you believe in Doggy reincarnation? I'm not really a dog lover or pet lover or anything, but I hear about people just breaking up over a lost of their pet. Sorry for the lost.
