Well Spurrier must have found a way to stop the offense cause the Cougs haven't scored in the 2nd half and SC is starting to pull away.
And now it's really over. And sad thing is UH could have been winning this game if they capitalized on their big plays in this half. 1st and goal and came away with nothing. Got an interception but couldn't do anything.
And I was thinking to myself, well at the very least, UH showed up to play and is putting up a fight. Not anymore.
Thing is, if you take away that freak interception by Carolina, and the fumble on Houston's 20, they're in good shape. Then, you add in that 3rd and goal mistake, and you see that Houston really has played a good game here. Just have made too many mistakes.
Well, now I don't know. This possession will hold the potential outcome for the game. Houston needs to hold them to a 3 and out in the worst way.
and we need a stop. please get a stop D. honestly. i bet we get the ball back, and then we score a TD, but fail the 2pt conversion. I just have the worse feeling.
As much as it pains me in the heart and wallet today, this game said a lot about how good our program is on the way to becoming. We slugged it out with a decent SEC team that is on the rise.Spurrier will have SC in the top 10 eventually. Recruits are coming from abroad and more homegrown talent will stay. UH is moving quickly down a path to perrenial top 20 again.......finally. I'm proud of our team and Coach Briles. We're on our way..
