I haven't watched UH much but damn they really have a good feel on offense. They mix it up well, good balance.
I see at least 4 NFL prospects on Houston - Battle (as a fullback...he'd be great), Aldrige, Marshall, and Kolb. Not bad.
I know that, and maybe it is the offense, but these 4 look really good. For instance, that huge play there!!!! Aldrige has crazy speed, which I think would at least make him a special teams extraordinaire. Marshall is a HUGE playmaker, as just seen. Battle seems to be an awesome fullback in the making (as Flutie, I believe commented). And Kolb is just Kolb. I hope we get him. But it really could just be the system.
Kolb is pretty slow, but I think the texans should draft him as well as Jeff Samardzija and let him and play instead of throwing 7 yd passes all the time.
I think this is what it boils down to. For instance, look at Texas Tech's offense from last year. In fact, look at Tech's offense from any year. Then tell me how many of those players are NFL-worthy.
I don't have much time to watch much college football these days, so I might be wrong, but some of these guys do seem to have some legitimite talent. I would love to see Houston play Tech. I actually think Houston would win. But like I said, I haven't seen Tech play, and most of my college football knowledge comes from box scores.
