This is the first Monday of summer vacation for the following people in my life: My wife My sister and brother-in-law 90% of my friends All of whom are either teachers or band directors. I'm already starting to get the annual TAUNTING texts from my friends of them sitting by the pool/lake/beach, drink in hand, etc. And here I am at work. Why must they torture me on this day every year? But seriously, enjoy your summer, all you CF teachers. You've earned it. Just please....have a little compassion for those of us who are working today like any other day.... TIA
LOL. Not teaching right now, it's true, and I'm loving it. Spending all day working on my book and hanging out with the dog. God but I can get a buttload of work done when I'm not actually at the office.
you should quit your job and then rack up unemployment while making her the breadwinner for the whole family. That'll show her not to taunt.

I miss summer vacation. My line of work make taking anything more than 2 days of from now and Thanksgiving impossible. How I miss spending August with my family in Barcelona.
This makes me sad. I'm dating an engineer right now, and I'm tempted to knock her up and pursue the stay at home dad life.

Today I snorkeld, kayaked, laid on dead mans beach and now we're having lunch. A whole week in the BVI does not suck at all.
