Rudy deserves one more season. I think he should be afforded that privelege because of his history with our town. But that is it. No more excuses. Next year is put up or shut up time. With Utah's projected fall from playoff contention, there is a spot for the taking.
Next season is not gonna be any easier than this season. Pheonix, Seattle, and Golden State are all getting better. And none of the top 5 teams (with the possible exception of Portland) is getting any worse. It's gonna be a dogfight at the lower half of the playoff spots. That said, I fully expect the Rockets to make it.
Well, I really didn't count Seattle. They finished the season strong but I am not sure they can get by a full 82 games with Barry at the point and no legit big man.
I say give him one more year. This year if no playoffs, then no job. Hopefully Van Gundy will still be around to fill in...
