I concur, but I just don't see us winning - we were better with CP3 in every way, better shooter, better decision maker, much better shooter......I mean, Morey gave up CP3 and a first for this guy....IMHO, this is the worst trade in Rockets history. DD
I say lets roll the dice, lets bench Westbrook the remainder of his contract unless he sees a therapist and gets rid of that arrogance of his. Sure paying $150mm for a guy you dont use sucks, but I would get some satisfaction that the guy finally understands how frustrated fans are with his low IQ and arrogance. The ball just moves better with him out of the lineup, let Harden take more than 12 shots in a damn game, give rivers and green some more burn and this team has a shot at winning without him.
To even think about sitting someone we're paying 40 million a year is ridiculous. This ship will sink or float with Westbrook, no other way around it.
Rockets have dominated pretty much all playoffs with Westbrook on the bench. The answer is pretty clear. Westbrook is not a winning player. This was known already.

You're an idiot if you think we will beat lakers without westbrook. Game 2 is one game and each game is different. Players who played well in game two may not in game 3. You have to play your stars. Lakers have two superstars, one of which is considered top two ALL TIME by many. You think harden and role players is going to beat them in a series? We need him to play he just needs to play better.

PG was playing injured and had to have surgery after the season. Mitchell is a star and played like it even as a rookie. We arent beating lebron and AD without westbrook. Youre missing a few chromosomes if you think so.

well i am glad that you realize what maters is the play, the performance and not the title and the name of the player russ is perhaps playing injured or as if injured since he cant dribble the ball like a normal player... Game 3 Net ratings Harden AND Westbrook : -16.0 Harden NO Westbrook : +14.8 Westbrook NO Harden : -15.8 Westbrook on the floor once again murdered us.
