I'm not sure what is crazier. Claiming JC is Scoot Henderson or trying to compare a 20 yr old KPJ to a 17 yr old Scoot Henderson.

I don't think that's fair. We're discussing a player who played a key role in 61 games last season, with the organization investing a lot of time seeing if KPJ would work as our point guard. Sure, I don't think he's the right fit for us there, and could be a better as a 6th man for the Rockets or being with another team altogether, but there's plenty of room for disagreement about the guy between intelligent people. You're using way too broad a brush, in my opinion.

U and booby are too extremists on the opposite side of the spectrum. Kpj ain't as bad as u think he is and for sure as hell isn't the most talented player on the team as boobythegreat likes to keep saying.

A key role on losing. I said I would be ok with him being a 6th man. A starting PG; no I want you to start winning

A key role, nonetheless. Viewed from that angle, just look at the results of our draft. Amazing.

They're equally nuts. Why draft Wembanyama when we can just get Tacko Fall? I don't see much difference between the two. If anything, Fall is taller.

It was an overpay but it also set a precedent.

KPJ off court concern is the most compelling mitigation.

I like you King but I'm afraid you are biased.

I've worked with troubled kids and saw first hand how some can be reformed.

If it's assists? So far Scoot is lacking at the G-league level to KPj and JC.
Ast% is less than both; which means....he probably ain't passing better.

I want to wait one more season to decide if KPJ should be extended. I think he will do well.

I won't be opposed if he gets a 14 M a year contract for 3 years like Wood though.

No need to lash out with the grown up table paygrade ish. Wasn't coming at you like that. Just think it's crazy comparing the 2. Know without a doubt that any non biased / non rocket fan would laugh at the thought. He's a 17 yr old playing against grown men. There's a reason Puma gave him a deal making 7 figures a yr. Biggest shoe deal in history for a G league player. You can spend time posting stats and talking trash but your case will not hold up.

I think people are quick to forget that Sterling was only 17 last year and that the Ignite were also trying to showcase draft eligible players such as Dyson Daniels and Jaden Hardy.

I haven't forgotten it.....but that's another way of saying Sterling is a project.

Like Porter has been a project.....we switched him to PG or combo guard.
like Josh Christopher is project....we are trying to make JC a PG or combo guard.

Scoot comes out next season....project JC will school him.
Scoot comes out next season......project Porter jr would destroy him. What team will he be with?

    We would be going backwards.

People think the ceiling on Porter is hitting his head......oh no no no!
He has just been learning PG. The sky's the limit if you put talent around him.
