So what? This is great right, KPJ is happy shouldn't we be happy? And there is a HUGE chance he outplays the contract.

Therein lies the conundrum. Do these guys relish other peoples misery? So quick to circle jerk to "haha its an NFL deal" .. "He had not options" .. all that BS and then you hear KPJ who sounds ECSTATIC about being here and they still cant help but suck their teeth!

Had a feeling a four year 80m deal would happen

    Et tu brute?

This is an incredibly team friendly deal. Why is it so hard to just accept that KPJ is wild card and received a deal based off that.

It is a great deal. Everyone should be happy.

It just so happens this contract signifies that the league wasn’t all that enamored with KPJ so he decided to sign a team friendly instead of trying to “bet on himself in FA”.

Why do the guys that supported him from the jump have to extend the olive branch? SMH

From what I've seen, the most fervently anti KPJ types tend to be low character type posters, so there's really no reason to get worked up by them.

The rest of them will come around in time.

Why can’t the overzealous posters just admit they overvalued KPJ a little bit?

Supporting him and over supporting him are two different things.

Lol. “Folks who disagree with me are ‘low characters types’”

Says the guy who got banned for an egregious personal attack.

Overzealous? Sure! Over valued when I was one of the guys pushing a 15M baseline? Nah. If anything he got more than I expected and Im happy for him he deserves it. How about the rest of you who under valued him and then had to hang onto BS quips about NFL contracts and the triggers in the deal and how his agent was a terrible and YADA YADA YADA only to find out that whoops those triggers actually solidify the majority of the deal! So fast to spit venom that they couldnt even wait a few hours for the brass tacks to come out. Why? Fragile little egos. Now you guys want a little civility? LOL

I love it when people whine about me being mean to a troll years ago, it'll never stop being funny to me.

Like I said, some of the worst are absolutely low character types.....it's funny that you personally felt called out by that, I certainly wasn't thinking about you. I guess the question is, do you think it applies to you?

Lol…It’s just amusing that a low character poster who was banned for going after poster’s special needs child would and characterize those who disagree about KPJ as “low character”.

It’s almost like you were projecting. But hey…. If anyone knows low character…. It’s you.

You need a hobby instead of trying to be the KPJ white knight….

I’m happy the Rockets got KPJ on a super team friendly deal that gives the Rocket’s flexibility. I feel like this contract shows the Rockets think he has potential but also think he still has maturity issues.

Oh, I think he is still betting on himself but hedged a little with the guaranteed 16m next year, so he in effect does both, if he gets injured or has issues, he still gets 16m.....and if he stays healthy and plays well, he will earn a lot more money.

    Win win.

It says nothing about the league because we never hit RFA.

Lol, you have to know that people like you are merely comedy to me....you have to know that your opinion about character means less than nothing to me.....and crying about me being mean to a troll years ago really isn't the own you seem to think it is....especially when that troll, and their army of sock puppets, are one of the lowest character people I've ever encountered here.

LOL, and you're crying about it too? You losers are far too predictable. You get embarrassed when your hot takes fall flat then cry about how I was mean to a pathetic troll years ago.....that's the one tool in your bag.

Go back to lying about blocking people.

The more these weirdos freak out, the more you know they are embarrassed by their hot takes.

Because KPJ agreed to a team friendly so the league wouldn’t get an opportunity.

Him betting on himself would have been letting the market decide, which is what he didn’t do.

I know this is tough, but outside of rockets message board KPJ isn’t all that coveted.

Again, this is a good deal for the Rockets team since it’s still a prove it contract with the team holding the high card.

Lol. So when you can’t actually defend your position, just pretend like you are being insulted.

    You do you bro.
